Welcome to Chestnut Labradors. We are a small hobby kennel located in Northwest Ohio. We have been raising, showing and sharing our lives with Labradors for over 20 years.
We got our start showing in conformation thru our friends and mentors, Sonny and Shirley Chambers of Muskelunge Labradors. We will always be grateful to them for sharing their knowledge and passion of this wonderful breed.
Our goal is to maintain the soundness, health and temperament in our Labradors that have made them so versatile whether as a working partner in the field, a competitor in the show ring or a companion on the couch.

What You Should Know
Every litter born here is raised with love and care in our home. We make a point of spending a lot of time with our puppies and exposing them to as many new experiences as possible. Our puppies receive “Bio-Sensor” (also called “Super Dog”) Early Neurological Stimulation between the ages of 3 and 16 days. This is a program used by the U.S. Military for dogs being used for military purposes. Their research has shown that this early stimulation can influence rapid neurological growth and development of dogs. Our goal is to socialize them so they can grow into happy and well adjusted adults. By the time you take your puppy home, we will have them current on vaccinations and worming. You will receive their medical record to take to your veterinarian.
From time to time we will have older dogs available to place. If you are interested in an older dog, please contact us. We take a lot of care in placing all our dogs to make sure they are a good match for you and your family.
